Segpay Upgrades IT Capabilities With Migration to New Data Centers

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Segpay has upgraded its IT infrastructure footprint with a migration to multiple new data centers.

“The state-of-the-art facilities are designed to meet and exceed the latest technical standards, improving speed, redundancy and security for Segpay’s merchants worldwide,” a rep explained, adding that  migrating all of Segpay’s IT applications has been a year-long process.

“With the move now complete, merchants can experience higher-availability infrastructure, leading to less downtime, limited-service interruptions and the elimination of single points of failure,” the rep noted.

The new infrastructure also allows for independent application stacks across multiple geographical locations, verifying system uptime in the event of a failure, and minimizing downtime.

Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley said, “As a technology company it is important to operate within the latest system architecture available. The data center upgrade offers significant improvements as we continue to operate at peak performance for our merchants.”

The Microsoft SQL database servers, with central processing units specifically designed for SQL, are “scalable to meet business demands keeping all data secure through enhanced monitoring,” the rep concluded.
